About G1 Compass

G1 Compass is an independent educational study aid for Ontario G1 knowledge-test preparation. It is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by the Government of Ontario, the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, or DriveTest.

G1 Compass does not replace the Official MTO Driver's Handbook, professional instruction, or the official knowledge test.

Permitted use

You may use G1 Compass for personal, non-commercial study. You agree not to:

• interfere with the app or website or attempt to bypass its security;
• use automated systems to overload or disrupt the service;
• misrepresent G1 Compass as an official government service;
• reproduce or commercially distribute substantial portions of G1 Compass except as allowed by law.

Accuracy and test results

We aim to provide useful, handbook-based practice material, but laws, official guidance, and testing procedures can change. We do not guarantee that every question is current, complete, or error-free.

Practice scores are for study purposes only. A result on G1 Compass does not guarantee that you will pass an official test or qualify for a licence. Always confirm rules and requirements with current official Ontario sources.

Intellectual property

G1 Compass and its original design, code, arrangement, and practice content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Government names, publications, road signs, and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. References to them do not imply endorsement.

Service availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of G1 Compass at any time. We may also restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms, or comply with law. We are not responsible for preserving device settings or study history.

Disclaimers and liability

G1 Compass is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, G1 Compass and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or website. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
